Valley Ranch Pet Clinic has now opened a Rehabilitation Center in our building! This center is run by  Elizabeth Nonnenmacher, DVM, CCRT.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.  Following a passion for rehab, she received her Canine Rehabilitation Therapist certification with a focus on post-operative, sports medicine, and arthritic/neurologic conditions in 2014 from Canine Rehabilitation Institute.  She is a member of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians (AARV) and AVMA.

Referral Form & Policy



The rehabilitation services that we offer are:

  • Manual therapy:  range of motion, massage, stretching, joint mobilization

  • Laser Therapy

  • Therapeutic exercises: balance, weight-bearing, strengthening, and conditioning

  • Treadmill Therapy

  • Underwater Treadmill Therapy

  • Cart/Orthotic Fitting

The conditions and symptoms that can be treated:

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Joint Disease

  • Spine disorders, disc disease, neck/back pain

  • Post-operative care

  • Limping

  • Ligament, tendon, muscle weakness, or problem

  • Difficulty or reluctance to exercise, walk or rise

  • Weight loss

  • Muscle injuries

  • Patellar luxation

  • Achilles tendon rupture

  • Wound management

  • Degenerative myelopathy

Animal rehabilitation can reduce pain and enhance recovery from injury, surgery, degenerative diseases, age-related diseases, and obesity along with providing fast post-operative recovery. Our goal of physical rehabilitation for animals is to improve the patient’s quality of life and decrease pain.

Rehabilitation is the focus for our referrals.  Any other conditions that should arrive while here will be referred back to the primary veterinarian.  We have included a referral form, but you can also find a link on our website to print.
